ARY News reported on Wednesday, citing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), that two terrorists were shot dead during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general region Jani Khel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bannu district.
Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in general area Jani Khel in Bannu district due to “reported presence of terrorists in the area,” according to the military’s media arm.
Security personnel and militants engaged in a fierce firefight throughout the operation. As a result, two terrorists were shot dead, according to the ISPR, which additionally stated that the slain terrorists’ guns and ammo had been found.
The propaganda wing of the military further said that the terrorists who were slain were still actively engaged in terrorist attacks against security personnel and unarmed civilians.
