ISLAMABAD: In the National Crime Agency £190 million Scandal or Al-Qadir Trust Case, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former federal ministers and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials, according to ARY News on Wednesday.
According to sources, the accountability commission has chosen to include PTI leaders who served in the PTI government in its inquiry.
In this context, Ali Zaidi, Shafqat Mehmood, Hammad Azhar, and Zulfi Bukhari, all former federal ministers, received summons letters from the NAB. Faisal Vawda, a former federal minister, was also called in for questioning by the FBI in the investigation.
In the Al-Qadir Trust case, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has also called Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, for an interview.
