Shaheen Afridi, the captain of the Lahore Qalanadars, has become the most successful captain in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in terms of victory %.
The 21-year-old left-arm fast bowler has led his team to 14 victories in 20 matches, for a win percentage of 70.00.
This season, the left-arm pacer has been in superb form, leading his franchise club to numerous critical triumphs.
The Qalandars presently lead the table with six wins in seven games and are the first team to qualify for the playoffs.
Shaheen’s record puts him ahead of other successful PSL leaders like Mohammad Rizwan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfraz Ahmed, and Darren Sammy, who have all had remarkable win percentages in the past.
Mohammad Rizwan, the Multan Sultans’ captain, is presently in second place with a victory percentage of 67.7%. He has guided his club to 10 victories in 15 games, and his steady performances as a captain and a player have been critical to his team’s success.
