Pakistan will import 450,000MT of wheat from Russia, with nine ships expected to transport it.
The first of the nine ships bringing 50,000 metric tons of wheat from Russia to Pakistan arrived at the Gwadar port, according to Pasand Khan Buledi, chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA).
According to Buledi, preparations had already been made under a contract between the Gwadar International Terminal Ltd (GITL) and the Trade Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) to manage the import of wheat.
